If you had to buy one, 2006 Volvo V70R manual transmission or 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo dual-clutch
Volvo by far if its going to be used for a daily driver or I'm on a budget. If its a weekend toy and I've got money to burn, might consider a Porshce but they do cost a lot more to keep on the roads than a manual transaxle Volvo.
For reliability, I’d go with the Volvo.
For fun, I’d go with the Porsche. Knowing that the Porsche is gonna cost me. Hahaha.
Between those two, the Volvo V70R here in the States. They are far more rare, practical, and a sleeper while Porsche 911 are more common (relatively speaking). And I am a big fan of performance wagons.
Go with the Volvo out of those the Porche dual-clutch transmissions have issues and are very complex and expensive to fix.
I would go with the 911 all day long.
Depends what you're wanting to do with either car? But on to the question. The V70R, can make it a nice sleeper. The 911 will drain your bank acct quick.
Porsche 911 Turbo all day. Classic driver's car. I'm sorry....the Volvo just doesn't compare in my book.
Step up to a GT2 though. Then you REALLY can terrify yourself in the turns and find out what your skill limit is.
