I have a 2011 nissan sentra, lately I've been having trouble starting the car. Occasionally I'll put my key in the igniton and all the accessories will come on, but when I try to start it, I get 1 single crank and then nothing, no start. After a few tries and waiting a couple minutes it finally turns over fully and starts and runs like nothing is wrong. I had a MAF sensor code which I replaced and thought the issue would be fixed but I guess that wasn't the problem. Please help
If your starter quits after a single crank you may have an intermittent fault in your ignition switch.
Other possibilities would include a bad solenoid, worn starter brushes, or a bad spot on the starter's commutator.
Check the battery and alternator output and the starter relay.
