Hey Scotty!
My daughter has a 2012 Toyota Yaris, 140,000 miles, just drove from Georgia to Massachusetts. A couple of days after arriving the engine started ‘sputtering’ while in Park, as if the engine gets weak or something. But when in Drive, or Reverse, engine seems to behave normally - no shuddering. Even when stopped, say, at a red light or Stop sign, brake applied, engine seems normal. It’s only when in Park that the engine seems to shudder. Any ideas?

Would it make sense to do a transmission fluid drain and replace, and transmission filter change, to help mitigate the situation?
