Hey Scotty, so I have a 2000 Nissan Maxima. It’s an automatic with roughly 116k miles on it. Recently it’s been having trouble just starting. Like it makes one single click and that’s it. I kept hearing it was the starter so I bought a new one, replaced it, only to have it not work still. Then I thought might as well go get the battery checked and that’s good too. I’m honestly stumped as to what it could be. Do you think it’s the alternator? Now I’m hearing it could be either that or the flywheel. I’m honestly so stressed out and so overwhelmed. I wanna get at least a professional opinion on this before I get it looked at. If it helps, I also hear a very quiet whining sound when I turn the key. Any information would really be great, thank you!!
