Car that cranks too Long 1996 Nissan Maxima

Hello,

Question: Why is my engine cranks too much, and what might be the problem?

Vehicle Specs: 1996 Nissan Maxima (Don't know GLE or SE) Automatic Transmission with a 3.0 v6 Engine, Twin Cam Valve. The odometer is at approx. 188k miles on it. Original Engine and Transmission.

Already Done, Replaced, and Brand New: Ignition switch, Air temperature Sensor, Fuel filter, Car Battery, 2 crankshaft position sensors, Air filter, Changed the Oil 5w-30, and cleaned the Mass air flow sensor with a (mass air flow and throttle cleaner).

Symptoms: I insert the key into the ACC position, all the lights in the dash board are turn ON. Once I go in to Start mode, the engine cranks for about 4 to 5 secs or even longer if I leave it there. I reverse the key back in to ACC position or even OFF position, and I try again. In the 2nd trial, the engine does turns ON. Is hard to predict if it happens during cold engine start or after is already been warm-up. It happens randomly.

Any tips will be highly appreciated!

MAF cleaner and throttle body cleaner are two different chemicals.  You can't just use one for both.  Why would you insert the key in the ACC position?  It's supposed to be inserted in the OFF position.  Run some fuel injector cleaner through the system.

Sorry I meant to say, I use the mass air flow sensor cleaner, the proper cleaner for MAF. and I insert the key in the OFF position,

Any clues in codes or data? Is your fuel pressure regulator leaking down when the engine is off?  Is fuel pressure OK? Fuel injectors OK? You didn't mention spark plugs, how old are they?

It has check engine light, the only code it has is P1445 which is the EVAP canister. Sparkplugs I still need to check does! about the fuel pressure still I need to make sure if the pump is working properly and receiving enough fuel pressure. Sparkplugs should be about 5 years Old.
