2010 Chevrolet Camaro 3.6L LLT. I was coming off the highway about 75 miles slowing down gradually. Heard a loud metallic pop sound then it started to make like a knocking noise. I couldnt stop right away had to keep going to a safe area. After i turned the car off, i tried starting it and it will not turn over. Turn the key it spins once and dies immediately. Dont have any trustworhty mechanics around to rely on.

Welcome to the forum. You may have to take it wherever you can. My suspicion is a broken piston rod, but for your sake I hope not.

See the troubleshooting section of the FAQ. Hopefully the "knocking noise" was not the engine's death rattle.
