I was wondering what aftermarket CarPlay that works through the factory nav system do you recommend for a 2017 Lexus RX 350?

Good luck on that one I found the aftermarket systems almost never completely jive and all kinds of modifications are needed to make it work with all the modern communication stuff that's in such a fancy car from the factory

Well, there is no way u can get an aftermarket system for that car in order to get carplay. The 2020 RX models and up included carplay

If you want CarPlay, find a Pioneer aftermarket system which is licensed to support Apple CarPlay.

You can forget about trying to make anything work with the stock headunit.
