Hi Scotty. My 1999 Honda Accord V6 with 263,000 miles idle goes up and down between 1500 to 2000 rpms when in park but it drives fine. I got a code for P0505 I just recently replaced my throttle body with a new one my old one was damaged what could this be?

That should be a drive by wire so most likely since the throttle body was replaced it needs to be programmed. Idle air volume learn to correct the idle

That's right it probably needs reprogramming cuz it's saying there's a problem in the circuitry there but if that doesn't fix it you got a crappy assembly when you install the new one
