Catalytic converter problem

My 2002 Hyundai Accent needs a new catalytic converter. I don't live in California but my car has a California catalytic converter. Can I use a 49 state one instead? They are less then 175 were the others are over 500.

It should be fine. Does yours have an o2 sensor in the converter?
