Catalytic converters. My brother in law owns a 2001 Nissan Frontier 2wd 4 cyl. When he starts the truck up and tries to drive it, it will only go about 20 mph. I think the cat is clogged. We tried a new fuel filter and no difference. He thinks it’s ...

Get a decent scan tool, such as a Blue Driver with enhanced diagnostics and live data. That would be useful for initial diagnoses, and subsequent thinking through the problem. There's not enough information here to give any useful guidance.
