Hello, I have an Opel Astra F 1996 petrol, it starts but after a few seconds of running it shuts down and the check engine light starts blinking non-stop. I plugged in my OPCOM scan tool and shows [P1502 - (0) <Unknown DTC> - Present] tried deleting the fault code and it still appears, tried reprogramming the immobiliser show [conditions not correct]. Any ideas?

Hello, today I bring good news, after a long time of head scratching and talking to other people and looking for who could help me and the electricians didn't know what the problem could be I managed to fix it by myself. To start with, I ordered the same engine ECU with key and immobiliser and still had the same problem tried programming, but still, nothing when accidentally found out that all of the problems were in a faulty immobiliser plug I managed to fix the plug to hold the connection, reprogrammed everything successfully and did a first cheerfully startup. The engine running a bit rough, white smoke, a bit choking because of the old sitting petrol in my free time I will flush the tank now the car is being assembled can`t wait to get it on the road. Thanks for the help.

It does seem like an immobilizer fault,

this code on GM/OPEL products means “Theft Deterrent Fuel Enable Signal Not Received”

You may have to go to an electrician

Hello, it`s been two months already what can I say I didn't find the problem, the first thing I did I checked the wiring ripped out the whole panel looked at the wiring removed the aftermarket central locking system (that was already in the car when this problem appeared), also had some kind cellphone module or sth also removed that, wiring looks all fine, tried again reprogramming still nothing after that I went to an electrician what he did he paired the key with the immobiliser ( said the key was not meant for the car), so we fitted in still the same, what he did again made a copy of the same the immobiliser thinking if doesn't work another will. After a while found online engine control wiring a thought if it's not connecting to the ECU must be bad wiring bcs it had a lot of soldering so replaced the wiring and still the same tried another ECU and programming it`s still the same. The funny part is that doesn't matter if the immobiliser is connected or not it shows it`s not connected, yes it brings 12V, no there is no fuse for the immobiliser. To be honest, don't know what else can be wrong its a clean-body car it was my dad's car it had a rebuilt engine ran like a clock he sold it but didn't give the title and the car was just driven on my dad's name now we have the car back not running found sitting in the garage, dad gave me the car but after half a year of fixing don't know what to do planning to sell it in parts. Any ideas that could help?
