Hello,
I have a 2007 Subaru Impreza 2.5i 5 speed manual with 165,000 miles. I got it for a good deal at 2,000 and everything seems to be in good shape. The check engine light is on and the codes are P0171 System Too Lean Bank 1 and P0026 Intake Valve Control Solenoid Circuit/Performance Bank 1. The owner told be it might be the valve cover gaskets, I just changed the oil with mobil 1 5w-30 and changed the filter with a subaru oe filter, and I already bought a pcv valve and hose that I'm gonna try to replace to see if that will do the trick. Do you have any other ideas?
Why you might get it going and drive a little first if it runs okay because sometimes those runners will stick if not a lot of times you got to replace the intake manifold which is rather expensive
I just replaced the pcv valve and hose and it seemed to make the P0026 code go away. I'll get it looked at by a mechanic to see what the P0171 code could be, hopefully its a simple repair.
