Hi Scotty,
I have a 2013 Volvo XC60 T6. Originally purchased used and found out it had a piston ring issue that causes it to consume oil for at least 40k miles until I managed to get a warranty replacement engine. Now my issue is the CAT is popping up when the engine light is on. I saw your video on using lacquer thinner. Would you recommend I try this method as well? Thanks!

How do you know it's actually the catalytic converter at fault? Of course the converter might have been affected by the oil burning problem, but your check engine light doesn't specifically "pop up the CAT". The light indicates that there are one or more codes indicating conditions exist which typically have several different potential causes.
I still don't understand how lacquer thinner is supposed to work in the fuel tank. It gets burned up in the combustion chamber and turned into water vapor , CO2 and a few other things.
If you want to use strong solvents, then you have to cut the cat off and give it a thinner bath.
