Hello everyone!
2003 Corolla, manual, 135k miles, no codes, runs a little lean
What is this noise that my engine makes when I spin the crankshaft by hand?
*Do not confuse the ratcheting wrench noise with the click/thump that the engine makes*

it's not a good idea to turn a modern engine by hand because there are many devices that need the spinning and oil pressure of the engine to make them run correctly and it will make noises if you spend it by hand and not have the engine running itself. If it makes no noises when you start it normally with the starter leave it alone
