Cloudiness on inside of 2018 Camry headlight

I recently bought a 2018 Toyota Camry in perfect condition except for one thing: some cloudiness on the inside of one of the headlights. At first I thought it was condensation but it's not going away and it's beginning to look permanent. What could cause this and is this covered by a Toyota-certified warranty?

Hello,

With regard the warranty you need to talk to Toyota about that,

If the back of the lamp (silver part) is becoming opaque it will need to be replaced.

This usually happens from water ingress.

All the best.

It will be covered under warranty. There should be no condensation or cloudiness in the headlight.

in one of scottys videos he says to drill a hole at the bottom of the headlamp plastic casing and that should allow the condensation to leave. if not you can get some aftermarket headlights from taiwan for pretty cheap

I've seen Scotty's videos where he praises the aftermarket lights he bought (personally don't care for anything that's not stock). I think on a 2018 car I am many years away from that.

Thanks for the replies, guys. Looks like this is indeed condensation of some sort (no idea how it got in there) so back to the dealer it will have to go. It's a Toyota-certified used car so it shouldn't be a question of arguing with a particular dealer.
