NEVER go to Pep Boys or other chain shops like Midas, Firestone, etc. Stay away from dealers as well. Find a good independent shop that is familiar with Mercedes.

Well, I know it's generally means your catalytic converter starting to wear out. But if it runs okay doesn't overheat and accelerates fine you can off them drive them years that way. That is a very expensive fixed to replace that cat
- it accelerates but can go to high because rmp will go to Max how do I know if that's it for sure?
- Should I take it to get the whole car scanned?
