I have a 1999 Mazda Miata with 143000 miles. Sometime when I check my radiator cold it’ll be empty along with the reservoir tank. I refill it and does the same thing. No overheating, burning coolant, or visible leaks but sometimes my regular air from vents smells like coolant. Thoughts please thank u!!!

You have leak in the heater core area. Check it.

Pressure test the system with the heater control all the way opened. You'll find the leak for sure.
