Covid vacations and automobile accidents

Hey Scotty, what are your thoughts on an article I read in yahoo finance. It was saying those who don have the vacation for covid are more prone to have automobile accidents than those who don't. I thought it was ridiculous but then it got me to thinking in the future would insurance companies gather and use information like this to raise car insurance on individuals for example like they do those who smoke. I also thought you might ge a kick out of the article . I pasted it below. Thanks for all help over the years. You information is invaluable.

I'm pretty sure you mean vaccination, not vacation.  This seems to me to be another way for "The Man" manipulate and control people.  Reminds me of a study a few years ago that said that everybody who dies of cancer exhibits the presence of dihydrogen monoxide in their bodies.  Which of course is water, H20.  DUH!  It seems like if they can make you afraid of it and blame it on someone, they can control you.

Man they'll put out anything to get people vaccinated XD

What complete nonsense.

"Jason Rantz wrote, 'Exact kind of nonsense study that sets the stage for car insurance companies charging the unvaccinated more for coverage'" - fox news, same thing you said OP.

Looks like I'll need to budget for that soon!

It's obvious nonsense. The problem with many so-called "studies" is the desired outcome is predetermined by the people paying for it and conducting it, with facts and logic twisted along the way as needed.

As far as the insurance companies, it would not surprise me at all to see them jump on this bandwagon as an excuse to raise rates.

It truly is amazing the ridiculous lengths that some will go to in order to push their agenda.

Correlation is not causation.

It's sickening how the article casts a negative light on those who possess "a belief in freedom".

I'm so much happier since I don't listen to the "news" anymore. I highly recommend it.
