CPO with less than 10 miles

While searching for a new manual corolla I found Beaver Toyota of Cuming Georgia that had 13 different Toyota vehicles that were under 1000 miles.  A couple were under 10.  They got picked up at an auction. They were being sold as Certified Pre-owned even without being own.  Why would this happen?  Are they trying to get around MSRP? It just seems interesting?

If they were sold at auction I would be very leery about it thinking they were totaled by insurance companies and the titles weren't cleaning myself I would not trust something like that

Thanks. Yeah I didn't think about that option. I was thinking it was a way for a dealership to get around MSRP being they never had an owner other than dealerships.

Quickly run away from this situation.  It can only end badly for you.  "Certified Pre-Owned" is a term that has no meaning in reality and no legal validity.  If you look up the term "Certified Pre-Owned" in the dictionary, the definition is as follows -

We are ripping you off.
