Well if a car cranks but doesn't start, there are numerous things that can do it. First. You have to figure out. Have you lost fuel or have you lost spark. So take out the air filter. Spray a little starting fluid. If it starts and dies you've lost fuel. If it doesn't even start then you've lost spark. So then you have to figure out is if you'll pump bad or is the ignition system gone bad. Start there?
I sprayed fluid no start I took a plug out and placed next to a bolt while my son cranked it it wasent like checking a spark in a lawnmower I'll tell you that but do believe it was a spark come off it scared me half to death,I changed cam and crank shaft sensor
What happen is it cut out while going down way no over heat issues just cut out and now this
