Can you fix a a ticking noise when I'm in gear on a 2008 ford crown victoria police, 145,700 miles
The noise goes away when in neutral or park or at higher RPM

if you only get the sound in certain gears, then it's transmission related. Likely the pump or torque converter. Either way it's a visit to the tranny shop.
