Three thousand, Canadian, … that’s a cheap price for good ‘08 CRV in Canada, … especially only with 98,000 kilometres! I suspect the one you are looking at must have something significantly wrong with it. You simply have to have a independent mechanic have a look at it. Otherwise, … just forget about it!
