Hey Scotty,
When I was in the Marine Corps as a mechanic, we had cv boots with zippers on them which made them easy to get on and off. Why doesn't the civilian market do the same?

I have heard of this but never seen it,
The reason why I think it never became popular on cars
Is probably down to maintenance cost,
A military vehicle is maintained to the highest standard while a private vehicle is usually not, Plus they make money by parts not being user friendly,
I include a picture of a cv Boot that is glued together for your information (They don't work great)
