2010 Chevrolet Equinox, 2.4
Engine has a misfire on cylinder 4 only. This only occurs when the AC compressor is actually engaged, vehicle in gear, and at idle. Watching the live data stream, the cylinder misfire count climbs like crazy, as if it is every ignition fire. As soon as AC compressor cycles off, or transmission is put in neutral or park the misfire stops. I have replaced spark plugs, swapped around coils and even put on a new coil, cleaned the PCV orifice in the intake manifold. Even went as far as isolating the AC compressor ground to a new location since it tied into the same ground as the ignition coils.
