Hey Scotty, I got a 1969 Datsun 2000 for a little project car. She runs alright for alright 15-20 minutes on the road but then she stalls. I'm thinking it's the distributor but maybe it's something else. Thanks for the help.
There COULD be problems with the distributor, but stalling after 15-20 minutes sounds more like a carburetor/vaporlock problem to me - though I did have a motorcycle with similar issues where it turned out to be the coil would cut out when it got hot.
My best guess, … coil. It works until it warms up, … than it doesn’t!
I had an ‘80 VW Westphalia acting like that, … in desperation I switched coils with my ‘79 BMW - same Bosch part number - and voila!
