Hey Scotty,
My girl has a 2017 chevy cruze diesel with that automatic stop/start when the car idles. Is there a way I can deactivate that so the car idles like a normal car and doesn’t wear and tear so much over time? Thanks.

I've never dealt with start stop myself because I'm cheap and drive old cars, but I have read that if you disconnect the switch that tells the computer when the hood is closed it will disable start/stop (servicing mode). Caveat: I've never tried it and don't know anyone who has, but the internet wouldn't lie would it? 😎
