Hello Mr. Scotty. I recently purchased a manual Volvo C30 year 2009 with 106k miles on it; the car is a 2.0 Diesel. When I turn on the car when it's cold the engine shakes for 20 seconds during which the entire car shakes. There is also a little white smoke after the cold start. I have also noticed that when the engine is warm every 5-6 seconds I can feel a little pulsation in the car when it is idle. I have used diesel additives but it has not helped. I was wondering if this is related to the injectors or glow plugs.

I doubt it’s the glow plugs, those just help to get combustion on the initial crank.
Injectors are a good thought, especially if they haven’t been previously serviced. Could also be fuel pump. Also engine mounts, but that’s much less likely
