Out of all the years and motors for diesel trucks which generations had the best ones? Not just the new ones but the old ones too 10,20,30,40 years old

About any old diesel that still runs is a good one! What purpose/use id the truck for? Important question imo ; )

The 5.9 and the 6.7 Cummins are great engines as well as the 6.6 Duramax.
