Scotty, I purchased a used part from LKQ. Supposedly it was OEM and condition A.
I know I don’t need to explain the definition.
myself I’m a diy guy. I follow your videos.
recently I fell on my wife’s car damaging her fender. I orders an OEM same color same year so no mods are needed.
LKQ sent a used aftermarket part that was not a grade A. Has scratches and minor dents and it’s not 100% the same color.
LKQ refused to work with me nor accept a return. They Ghosted me, I’d love to do a video for you and make this on one of your channels as LKQ is refusing to refund and disputing my dispute: now Mastercard wants a professionals opinion on how aftermarket parts often don’t fit correctly nor do the help the value and infact an aftermarket can depreciate the value of a vehicle. They also want me to prove how this fender is not Grade A.
what a joke right?
if your willing to help out, I can make a video for you or the damage caused by me falling out of a trash can. The purchase I made from LKQ and how they totally ignored my phone calls and e-mails asking for a refund or partial refund as I did not receive what they stated I would receive. Regardless Scotty, I’ll continue watching your videos. Rock on, StubbornMike! <personal info removed>
interesting. So the fender probably came from an old, faded, wrecked car.
LKQ refused to work with me nor accept a return.
As soon as you make a purchase online, you are automatically agreeing to all the terms in the the merchant's purchase policy. I suggest you read all the fine print. (ideally in advance). If you think they have violated any terms, then you can approach a consumer rights arbitration agency if your state has one, or you can take them to court if you feel it's worth your time (it probably isn't).
