In a conversation with a friend, he told me that these kind of german cars somewhere between 2004's and 2012's were notorious for having to be re-invested into swapping timing chains, in which the engine would have to popped out for such, since it was located at the back of the engine.
Price was around 3000 bucks.
Is still true to post 2010's german cars?

If I remember that problem correctly, it wasn’t the timing chain itself, but the timing chain guides that were made of plastic, that in turn made the timing chain break. I’m not sure about 2010+, I would hope they figured it out by now.
