Hey Scotty, Overall what do you think about the Dodge Vipers? Any generation you like more than the other? Hope to hear opinions!

Scotty answered this in a video last year and did not think too highly of them (in terms of reliability) - he called them money pits.  Some of the older generations are really hard to get parts for repair, too.  The newer ones have more bells and whistles and between Daimler and FCA ownership over the years I can’t imagine they got any better (in overall reliability).  The older generations were simpler and starting to go up on value (esp. the ACRs).  In terms of driving dynamics, I think the most recent generation was the best but as an FCA design I’d be weary to own one.

Dodge Vipers are great cars for the people who own shares of Standard Oil.

A Viper is not a car that is used as a daily driver. It’s a weekend toy, an expensive one at that. It’s a pose-mobile with a V10 engine. If you want to buy one, go right ahead. I also have a Camry-Accord-Civic-Corolla to drive to work
