My dad is letting me use his car but he thinks that Manuel mode will damage his cars transmission for long term use will it yes or no it they say dealer doesn't recommend it
Manual transmission will last longer because it wears less than automatic and it's very simple

If it causes abuse, yes. Otherwise, the capability can be used to good benefit without transmission damage.
