Hey , so I know this is a long shot but here is my story. I have a 2014 ram 1500 3.6L v6 , brought it in for body work at a dealership who had it for a week and a half. Never had problems with my truck then go pick it up (they had it during a bad snow storm) then my 4x4 was on, gas missing, they said they test drove it meanwhile makes no sense when was just body work. As for the 4x4 he used it to get over the bump in the shop (also made no sense as I have brand new tires) and engine light on and didn't want to move. So I find out it's in limp mode and the guy said was like that when we got it but yet not one phone call to me to tell me. So they send me out the door and I go to transmission place down the road, only to find out oil housing was done so oil was spilling everywhere yet the dealership never told me that , transmission had chunks in the pan so I went with replacing the transmission (160,000kms on tranny and engine) and the oil housing among other things like my axle was leaking differential fluid, also had to replace the heater valve 3 way coolant valve and thermostat a week later because got an engine code saying I needed to and engine wasn't warming up so was stuck open. So 8000 dollars later and a few weeks down the road , my heater starts acting up and would stop blowing for abit, then start again. But last night I went to start it and my heater stopped blowing completely now, but I notice my coolant temp is going up to 105 Celsius when it's never that high , could that be because my blower isn't blowing heat ? Just done want to keep sinking more money into it I have 5 kids so this has really hit us hard.

Wow, you got hosed! Here's steps I would take:

1. Get the transmission shop to write a letter about what they found and did

2. Record all the details on your experience, gather the receipts

3. Go to the dealership and demand that they make things right

4. Go up the corporate chain of the car brand - bad dealers make them look bad

5. Go to a local TV or newspaper and tell them your story

6.  Hit your state's attorney general/consumer protection office

Make enough trouble for them to pay you what they owe to get rid of you. Doormats get stepped on.
