I have a 2007, GMC Sierra Crew Cab, Z71, 199,000 miles. I have been having an electrical issue with my truck and can't figure it out. I have replaced the Alternator, had the battery, new alternator, and starter checked many times along with the system. Nothing came up. What happens is sometimes I completely lose all power. after doing my own testing I found that if I move the power cable, I will have power and the truck will start. I have triple checked the connections and all are tight and cleaned. I get different engine codes from this effect. remote start doesn't work. Most recently the engine light test says my PCM needs repair, control Module Comms Bus A off, and control module power circuit and anti-lock system. As I said I'm always getting different things to come up. and by wiggling he power cable everything resets inside. Is this a problem with the power cable? 175 Fuse?? I could really use some help. I have gone to several mechanics and not one can figure it out
I found that if I move the power cable, I will have power
There are many cables for power on a car.
Please be more specific, or provide a photo.
Pretty safe to say you should replace it.
