[Solved] Engine light Honda Odyssey

I bought a 2021 Jetta new to use on Uber. I asked if it's a good move here. I was told no. Lucky for me. I am selling it for more than I bought it after putting 6k on it.

So I bought a 2010 Honda Odyssey test drove it. It was fine 174k miles. Took it to a mechanic who drove it a little and said it's fine and looked at a couple things and noticed oil is low. So I bought it for 6k changed breaks and Roters and changed oil. I drove it less than 50 miles and now the check engine light came on with vsa and explanation point as well. But the car still drives good.

What can this be?

On those vans, you almost have to and must disable VCM to avoid issues. Read about it here: https://www.odyclub.com/threads/vcmuzzler-ii-for-disabling-vcm-faqs.268778/unread

Once you disable VCM, these vans just keep on rolling and rolling. Just change the oil and ATF on time and do the timing belt service, and you're set.

VSA is vehicle stability light, basically Honda's version of ABS early warning system. Scan for codes, they do it for free at most auto stores and go from there.
