Hello! I have a 96 2.2L Camry with 114,000 miles. The car seems to misfire going down hills on the highway. Also seems misfire while on cruise control. There is no code other than a P0420 below threshold. I have replaced the spark plug coils but not the spark plugs, will do that soon. Any suggestions?

There's tons of reasons why a car misfires, but P0420 means that all cylinders are affected. Id look for vacuum leaks since it seems like its happening under lighter loads. How does it idle?
It idles alright, could be smoother though. What’s the best way to check for vacuum leaks?
