Wankel compression test/relative compression test

I am going to see a 93' rx-7 (standard bi-rotor), is it a good candidate for a relative compression test?  the cycles are the same so I would assume so but I was curious if there are characteristics that would read differently on the graph that I should take into consideration, or some inherent feature of a rotary engine that could lead to a poor diagnostic?

Thanks for your time

Mileage?

advertised as 71,176 km so roughly 44 thousand miles, the car is bone stock not single mod or add on. sounds to good to be true... it probably is.

When you're working with/looking at something that's relatively rare or different, you will find more info on model-specific forums (like I have with my MR2).

I bet you could find out the best way to test for Wankel engine wear by looking at this site:   https://www.rx7club.com/

If you are looking to buy that car, I would look at something else. It's almost 30 years old and someone must have driven the heck out of that thing.

Normally I would ignore this impulse but your signature compels me to point out that I have learned nothing from your reply other then that your opinion is that old things should be disposed of. I am here to learn, and my question was not should or shouldn't I buy this car.

statistic and common sense backs your advise to not purchase an rx-7, 30 yrs old or otherwise. these are not the factors motivating my interest in the vehicle.
