My 10-year-old car seems to have started dripping a little oil in the driveway after I recently changed the oil. I was debating between using Bar's Leaks - 1000 Engine Repair and Lucas Engine Oil Leak Stop. Is one better than the other? Or is there something else I should do? [I've read some horror stories about AT-205 reseal so I don't want to risk that]
where is it leaking from?
It doesn't look like the drain plug. I can't really tell because it's kinda tight and quite dirty. It seems like the old gunky oil may have been preventing the leak. Are any of these products any good?
clean off the old dirt and oil so you can see where it comes from. Or try a dye tracer kit for a foolproof way. I would recommend trying to repair the leak before putting goop in your engine. You may just need something silly like a $2 clamp on an oil cooler line.

Perhaps you didn't use a new sealing washer on your drain plug. You need to find the source of the leak first and foremost, just like Joe asked. Then proceed to a fix.
I agree. Scurry under there and check the plug. Bring a good light too. You'll get it!
