Good morning Scotty,
- I have a 2004 Chevy Impala 3.4L V6 with 146000. There is a code that keeps tripping every couple of weeks. I bought an THINKOBD 100 scanner, upon your recommendation, and the code pulled up with a large leak in my evap system. I replaced the gas cap and that worked for a little bit but then that same code tripped a couple weeks later. Is this something to worry about? I’m trying to get this baby to 200k miles! Did you buy a OEM gas cap?
Yes and the coolant level used to drain quickly, but after I bought the cap it doesn’t so I’m guessing the coolant was evaporating out of the cap
Coolant from the gas cap??? So you also have coolant loss issue. Correct?
Hey Yaser, stupid me sorry I didn’t read it I saw replace cap and my brain went to the radiator cap that I just replaced.

You probably need a new evap canister solenoid. $25 at Autozone.
