Every electrical connector different on vehicle

I tag connectors before separating them so they can be reconnected in the same place, except when only one connector will reach or is obvious like for ignition coils.  I’ve noticed the connectors tend to be different throughout the vehicle. Example: 2001 Town and Country center console bezel. Have I been wasting my time tagging them?  What vehicles need to be tagged?  None?

You are not wasting your time because some connectors are the same and if you do tag them you'll never have a problem I've seen many cars that can be plugged in many different ways and it can destroy things if they're plugged in the wrong way
