Exhaust Leak, Mechanics Can't Find Issue

I have a 2017 ford fusion se 2.5L 4 cylinder 100k miles, no mods.

I'm experiencing a very loud exhaust noise in the 2000-2500 rpm range. The noise only occurs when accelerating slowly, usually at higher speeds. No check engine light. I'm confident the leak is coming from the front half of the vehicle closer to the engine based on the noise and vibration in the pedal sometimes.

Two mechanics (one who worked at an exhaust shop) said the exhaust system looked fine. I asked him if it might be a bad donut gasket/leak between two flanges and he said the donut gasket looked good. However, he just examined the car on the rack. Are there other potential flange/gasket areas where the leak could be that can't be identified simply by doing a quick inspection with the car on the rack?

Thanks

Start out with a new mechanic, one of knows how to work on cars. For instance, I would just get my smoke machine that creates smoke and shove it in the tailpipe of the car. Wherever there was an exhaust leak, the smoke would come out. If your car doesn't have equipment like that, he's not a real mechanic
