Hey Scotty, I have a 2018 F-150 5.0 V8 and when I start my truck after its hot and has been driven recently, a LOUD clunk/pop comes from my driveshaft on start up, when it is in park, and not on a hill. I took it to ford and they did a transmission computer update, but it still happens. Is this normal and will it break anything down the road?
Is it a 6r80 or a zf?

Neither. It is Fords 10 speed transmission. It is the transmission offered in the 2018 F-150 5.0 V8 XLT.
I havent gotten one at the shop so far but i have seen multiple problems with them id recomend you go to the dealer for the powertrain warranty and let them figure it out for free
