Hi Scotty, I have a 2011 F-150 XRT(Oh canada) 5.0L v8 that I have been having trouble with warnings coming from instrument panel that seem to come and go. It started with low oil pressure warning which was checked by a mechanic and they said the sensor is reading correctly changed the oil and haven't gotten it since. Then I started getting the "Service advancedtrac" intermittenly. A couple of days ago when I had my camper parked on a hill and I used the emergency break and after I released it the warning wouldn't turn off so had to drive it with beeping for 5 minutes or so. This morning when I started it up after visiting a yard sale started it up and I now have no warnings. I had this vehicle checked out by a mechanic and they said their computer couldn't pick up anything wrong with it the first time. They checked it again and found a blown fuse in my fans which I think caused an overheating issue I had even though my cluster didn't show overheat on gauge but the anti-freeze spewing out the cap and the cylinder head warning said differently. Could this be loose wiring? Things I've done so far is reset pcm procedure and took of the panel around the instrument cluster and wiggled and pushed in any wire harness connectors I could feel. Also I have hooked it up to micro mechanic and the only thing I've gotten so far is the p1299 for the overheat event when I was pulling my camper.
It seems to be more of an electronic issue. Your ECU might be faulty.
