First car Acura EL?

Hi, I was wondering is it was a good buy its a Acura EL 2001 with only 90 000 miles. I checked it out today the car seems solid the frame had no major rust oil changes were done when they were suposed too as the owner said. Its the first owner and he recently change the starter, muffler, oil pan full front brake job, radiator hoses replaced, stabilizer links in 2019 with all the receipts. I scanned the car with an OBD 2 scanner for trouble codes and there were none. There is two things that I don't know about too much there is quite a bit of rust under the car on the drivers side but almost no rust on the frame and he said that the front shock might need to be changed he is asking for $1600 and would probably pay $1500 if I make an offer. Is this a good first buy? Will this cost too much for what it worth? I did quite a bit of reseach and most people call it a kinda luxury civic.

Thank you for any help I get!

By the way its an automatic with a 1.7L v-tec engine!

I would have a mechanic like myself check the rust out first if the rust is serious the car is useless that is a unibody car once the frame starts rusting the car is worth nothing
