What is your opinion on the reliability of a 2004 Ford SVT Lightning with a cold air intake? Looking to buy one but also wondering how good it would be for a first vehicle and opinion on Toyota Tacoma X-Runner
2004 Ford SVT Lightning: Not a good idea for the first car.
Those fords are performance trucks and people tend to beat them hard. As a rule of thumb, you should avoid buying those cars used if owned by young kids, although if it has an elderly owner, it worth checking it out.
The Tacoma or 4runners are better options for the first car.
