Hey Scotty I have a 2007 Ford Focus hatchback, I have two questions for you. Number One, I have a slight power steering leak, under my resevoir one of the hoses is wet near the top so im assuming its slowly leaking from that area, do you know if the hoses or the resevoir is usual to go bad? Im in Canada 150k km on it. I have two of these focuses and both are doing the same thing.

2nd question is I recently changed the color my instrument cluster lights from the boring yellow to a nice blue color. now in order to do this I had to pop the needles off. I was able to put them back on but now they dont read correctly. Before taking them off i marked their original positions so when I put them back to those lines everything is all lined properly. but after shutting the car off the needles fall farther then they are supposed to. Putting the instrument cluster into test mode, when I do the gauge test and the needles are supposed to go all the way up and then back down again, instead they just shudder and make a horrible noise. What did I do wrong any ideas? Thanks for all the great content Scotty love your work. Keep it up

  • Usually it's a high pressure hose that leaky.ask for the needles you broke those little magnometers that are under there that's why they make a horrible noise those things aren't made to be taken apart and put back together again you could just buy a used dash and a junkyard probably pretty cheap
