- I read a law suit against Ford with the ecoboost engines in thw escape and how they kept it from dealership and public that the little pins holding the coolant in can wear out and leak coolant into.the engine block and wearing out the pistons what should we do if Ford don't want to replace the engines under recall or warranty and what the best warranty company to get to save it I have a 2016 escape 1.4l ecoboost with 61,0000 miles on it and just started to havr engine powere lost
