Has anyone replaced the pcv valve on a 2012 fusion 2.5 4cyl sel themselves or had a shop do it. I was reading online that a lot of parts have to come off to access it how long did it take and what were some prices paid for the service and any recommendations on doing anything else while having the pcv valve replaced

Unfortunately it is royal pain in the ass at a regular shop it's a $300 job. You have to take various parts of the intake off in order to access the stupid thing it's so poorly designed. But often they last forever if it's not sucking air and saying you're running lean at idle I would just leave the stupid thing alone. You could spray a little throttle cleaner inside the intake side of the hose and that would clean it out

Thanks scotty but no i never said it ran lean
