I've had this problem for about a month with my 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium. The engine is a 2.0L 4-cyl turbo. The car only has 58.3k miles and is barely taken out of the garage. The car has twice shut down while on the highway. The check engine light is not on and when we took a diagnostic test nothing came up bad. I heard it could be an issue with the fuel pump but I keep getting different answers.

Based on the signs, your fuel pump is going out. Change it and also change the fuel filter.
