I am considering buying a ford galaxy 1.5 ecoboost petrol engine in the Netherlands. Road taxes are twice as high for diesel cars. I have a family of four but often travel with three generations or friends so like the space and comfort. It is a 2015 model with 110 thousand kilometers and was a company lease car until now. I am buying from a dealer. Other ford ecoboost engines have had reliability problems and have heard that related to other ford brands. Do not know if I am in for expensive repairs. This car offers more comfort and space than Toyota verso 1.8 petrol which is a less roomy alternative. But want to know if I should buy the galaxy or not.
Thank you.
Do not buy a Ford with an ecoboost engine as those engines are endless moneypits that wear out way too fast. If you want a Ford get a naturally aspirated Ford.
